Manuscript Features

The text in this manuscript starts from the beginning of the work and goes to the end of the Ktvāpratyayādhikāraḥ chapter.

The folio numbers 154 and 155 are written on the same folio. The text is continuous in this place.

nāmnā śrīchatrasiṃhena, lekhitā (!) prakriyā śubhā |

vāgbodinyā prasādena jñānaprāpti mayādhunā || ||

After this śloka there is an excerpt from an unidentified Ayurveda text.

On the recto of the third folio there is a stamp of Chandra Shumshere, while on the verso there are some sentences of an invocation.

On the fol. 1r there is a stamp of Chandra Shumshere.

Short notes are written on the sides of some folios.

After the end of the text on fol. 241 (exp. 243t) there are four folios, corresponding to exps. 243b–246b. On the first of them is written the folio number 241; the text written on the previous folio 241 is copied on it. On the second, third and fourth folios (exps. 244b–246b) there is a colophon and a commentary on the first śloka of the maṅgalācaraṇa of the text.

The Newari language is used in some places, and there are many mistakes in the Sanskrit.
